These terms

These terms apply when you use mardepalm.com and when you book an experience with Mar De Palm. By using the site or booking with us, you accept them. If something here does not work for you, please raise it with us before booking.

Who we are

Mar De Palm is an experience agency based in El Gouna, Red Sea, Egypt, operating across El Gouna and Hurghada.

What we offer

We arrange and operate leisure experiences on the Red Sea coast, including sea trips and island days, speedboat trips, snorkeling, desert safaris by buggy and quad bike, stargazing evenings, and stays in our rooms and villa. Details, durations and inclusions shown on this site describe a typical experience and may vary with weather, sea conditions, group size and operator scheduling.

Bookings are made on WhatsApp

This website does not take bookings. Every booking button opens a WhatsApp conversation with our team, and that conversation is where a booking is actually made. Nothing on this site constitutes a confirmed reservation.

A booking exists only once we have confirmed it to you in writing, including the date, the experience and the agreed price. Prices shown on the site are indicative starting prices, are usually per person unless stated otherwise, and can change with season, group size and availability.

Payment

We take no payment through this website. There is no checkout and no payment processor connected to mardepalm.com. Payment is arranged with you directly when your booking is confirmed. We will never ask you to enter card details on this site, and you should treat any page that appears to do so as fraudulent.

Changes, cancellations and safety

Sea and desert experiences depend on conditions. We may change, postpone or cancel an experience where weather, sea state, port authority instructions or safety require it. Where that happens we will offer you a reasonable alternative date or a refund of amounts paid for the affected experience.

Cancellation terms for your own booking are agreed with you at the time of booking. Please raise any question about them in your WhatsApp conversation before confirming.

Your responsibilities

  • Give accurate details when booking, including the number of guests.
  • Tell us in advance about any medical condition, mobility need, pregnancy or anything else that affects whether an activity is suitable or safe for you.
  • Follow the instructions of our crew, guides and drivers at all times. They are given for your safety.
  • Arrive at the agreed time and place. Late arrival may shorten your experience.
  • Supervise children in your party at all times.

Limitation of liability

Activities on water and in the desert carry inherent risk. You take part voluntarily and at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by Egyptian law, Mar De Palm is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss or damage to personal belongings, or for loss arising from your failure to follow crew instructions, from a medical condition you did not disclose, or from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability where the law does not allow it to be limited or excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. We recommend you hold your own travel insurance covering the activities you book.

Website content

The text, photography and design on this site belong to Mar De Palm and may not be copied or reused commercially without our written permission. We try to keep the site accurate, but descriptions and prices may change without notice.

Third party services

When you tap a booking button you leave this site and enter WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta and governed by its own terms. We are not responsible for the availability or the policies of that service.

Governing law

These terms and any booking made with us are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Egypt have jurisdiction over any dispute.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published here at the moment you book is the one that applies to your booking.
